Paris with Lautrec staff - wonderful!

It was a gamble for my part to opt for the Lautrec Hotel. I had not heard about it and no one had recommended it to us.
My wife and I are happy that we gambled.
The location is marvellous - a couple of minutes’ walk to the heart of Paris. When I say a couple of minutes, I mean a couple of minutes. 
The double room we stayed in was fairly spacious, bright when we wanted it and shade when we wanted it. A large window faced a quiet street - Rue Amboise. One day it was above 30 degrees outside but we felt comfortable as the room was air-conditioned.
The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. We believe that the hotel management should be proud of their all-male team of consierges.
Summary: a clean, spacious, bright room with spacious clean and comfortable bathroom; breakfast - not remarkable but nice; staff helpful, smiling and hospitable; metro - two minutes’ walk; Hausmann Boulevard - five minutes walk; Le Louvre 12 minutes walk; Reading (UK) - four hours’ travel. What else would we wish?
